AUGUSTO VALVERDE

Producer - Director - Writer - Host - Speaker

Augusto is a multifaceted Producer, Writer, Director and TV Host who created the world travel show Global Child “Travel with Purpose”. After winning a national contest and working as a television host for NBC, Augusto launched his own production company and created Global Child, the first world travel show that shares uplifting life lessons through luxury and adventure experiences as they give back with influencer friends. He also hosted a national primetime debate show for Univision and is currently writing an auto-biography for Simon & Schuster. Augusto also hosted the Miss New York USA beauty pageant and awarded the Miss Global Child Award where a contestant gets to travel with purpose and give back to a cause.
Experienced in live, red carpet, sporting and entertainment coverage, Augusto is well versed in comedy improv through training at the famed Groundlings Theater and he also graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Theology from Grand Canyon University and has a feature film writing certificate from UCLA extension.
He has a strong pro social calling off camera and has been serving for 4 years as a Christian Chaplain at Men’s Central Jail in downtown LA where he visits the inmates to give them encouragement. He founded and leads the BIG Foundation, a non-profit charity that has all major world religions working together to tangibly help people in need. BIG Foundation has sponsored leper colonies in India, brought medical care to Kenya, sponsored orphanages in Thailand and is now distributing free masks to homeless populations in the US and abroad.
Global Child has filmed in twenty three countries featuring thirty nine five star hotels such as Oberoi, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Anantara and more. Global Child has played on the entertainment systems of airplanes carrying almost eight hundred million passengers since 2018, including American Airlines and recently launched on Amazon Prime world wide in addition to global network distribution & international train systems. Global Child is currently filming its third season.
